Flesh Masks for Skulls features a special remix of one of Slime of the Times’ standout tracks, ‘All Snakes No Ladders’, reimagined by renowned Norwegian sonic experimentalists Ulver who transform and expand upon the original, with McNerney describing the Norwegian collective as “one of the most important bands of our time” and expressing his honour at having them reimagine the track.

“Ulver’s remix of All Snakes No Ladders succeeds in amplifying aspects of the song which reframe but also heighten it in a way that lets you rediscover the song and what it means. It was meant to be. Tör’s drums and what he did with the track here are MORE, more Tör.

“Most remixes just abstract a song and do something different, and don’t reflect on the song at all. Ulver’s remix actually makes you enjoy the song all over again in a new way. After listening to the remix you can go back to Slime Of The Times and hear things in the songs that you might have missed the first time around.
